We invite you to experience a unique journey through the mangroves and sandbanks of the Preguiças River. Guided by a local fisherman, you’ll witness the sunset and the flight of the scarlet ibis — a moment where nature reveals its most poetic beauty.

By choosing this experience, you support Community-Based Sustainable Tourism: the kayaks were acquired with the support of the Local Residents and Fishermen’s Association, and part of the revenue goes directly back to the community.

Before departure, the fisherman/guide provides safety instructions and paddling guidance. Throughout the journey, he accompanies the group in a support canoe, ensuring care and peace of mind.
