We invite you to experience incredible moments, exploring sandbanks and mangroves where the flight of scarlet ibises creates a magical atmosphere. By joining us, you will be supporting Sustainable Community-Based Tourism in our region. We purchased our own kayaks with the support of the Bar da Hora Residents and Fishermen's Association. Additionally, we allocate 5% of our earnings to promote sustainable and fair tourism development in our community.

The kayak tour is a unique experience, offering direct contact with ocean currents and a stunning sunset at the ibis roosting area. The tour lasts approximately 60 minutes, with stops on sandbanks to refresh. A local guide accompanies the group in a motorized canoe, providing free mineral water and coconut water. Assistance and towing are available during the journey if needed. Detailed instructions on paddling and safe leadership from the guide prioritize safety and avoid close encounters with other vessels. Life jackets are mandatory throughout the tour.
