Our story

The name of Povoado Bar da Hora has its roots in the history of the bar and commerce founded by Dona Sinhá and Seu Manel. They transformed a simple bar into a welcoming meeting place for exhausted fishermen, offering not only food and drink, but also warmth and joy.

 

Over time, the bar became so central to the life of the village that its name came to represent the entire community. Thus, Povoado Bar da Hora was named in honor of the bar that served as the heart of the community's growth and unity, symbolizing a place where it is always the right "time" to welcome and celebrate people.
